"And here with you, under these colors. I'll stay with you, there is no other. We share a name, we share a wonder. And on the road ahead we'll keep going further."

The clanking of crystals, explosions off in the distance.

2010.

I can't even begin to explain how much I changed in 2010. In every possible way I am ending the year a better person and I am so grateful for all the blessings I received this year.

I started off the year being engaged and a few weeks later got married. I got married when I was 22 and now I am 23, almost 24, yikes! I went on my first grown up vacation with my husband. We had no pets and had no idea when we would be able to afford to one, then little miss Molly Marie came into our lives and we can't imagine life without that crazy little thing. I celebrated many holidays (Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas) as a wife for the first time and cherished every single moment. I got some not so good news and instead of becoming angry at God, I thanked him because He is always good regardless of my circumstance. My relationship with God changed and I feel closer to him now than I ever have.

Simply put, 2010 was the best year of my life.

Here are some of the highlights...

Wedding.

Honeymoon & holding a baby lion!

First picture of Molly.

Easter.

Thanksgiving.

Christmas.

This year was full of blessings and happiness and although there were some trials and rough patches, looking back I really only remember the good times.

I learned so much about myself this year and I really am getting to know who I am and trying my hardest to be the woman I know I can be for God, my husband, my family and my friends.

This scripture has been dear to my heart and I plan on applying it to all that I do in 2011: "Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Jesus Christ."

I really have no idea how 2011 can top 2010. It is however getting off to a good start! January of course marks our FIRST wedding anniversary (we have so many ideas of what we want to do and where to do it!) and I also celebrate my 24th birthday!

Alright, lets get this started!!

"so this is the new year
and I have no resolution

it's self-assigned penance?
for problems with easy solutions

so everybody put your best suit or dress on
let's make believe that we are wealthy for just this once
lighting firecrackers off on the front lawn
as thirty dialogues bleed into one
I wish the world was flat like the old days
so I could travel just by folding the map
no more airplanes or speed-trains or freeways
there'd be no distance that could hold us back"
